Yay! Yahoo! Yippee!

We FINALLY got to spend time with our best friends ever! We talk to them every week but we finally got to be with them, hanging out and playing games and having fun! It was great!

Things have been crazy for all of us since Christmas, so we haven't been able to see each other in months! I'm feeling great now that we got to see them all and I for one, must say that it can't be that long again! I was going through withdrawal!

Feeling productive

Fortunately for Husband and me, everything that was supposed to get done this week did get done. Woohoo for that! There's a lot we've got going on lately so it's great to know that everything is going smoothly for now.

Plans change

Our weekend turned out to be not at all what we had planned it to be. I did take a sewing class with one of my friends and we had fun, but it was more intense than I originally thought it would be. I am excited though because my quilting class is coming up and I'm extremely excited about that!

Ode to Jen

I have this great friend that I've spent a lot of time with in the last week, especially. We first met sitting next to each other in Biology class sophomore year in college, only to discover we both laughed at our insane professor and we were both pursuing the Resident Advisor job in the same building.

Well of course since we're so wonderful, we achieved that "career goal" of RAing together for two years. She's been in my wedding, she's spent the night in our house when in town, and then she moved here to the area a year ago.

Basically, she's like a sister to both Hubby and myself, which is always a good thing. She has a very big day coming up today and if you think about her then you could pray that things go well today.

Stayin alive!

Why is it that you're told to get all these check ups and at certain ages, tests done to you to be sure you're healthy and staying that way, but in the meantime you get exhausted trying to schedule them all and have the money to pay for it all? How annoying.

I guess the reward of all that is that you know you're healthy or you know if something's not right. I suppose... yeah, okay I'll take that. :-p

I got a comment!

I got a comment! Someone finally commented on a blog entry! Okay, yes, it was CC, but hey, a comment! Yay! So yes, I'm incredibly excited that someone reads this, even if it is my hubby. Yay for comments!

Husband's been working crazy hours for the past ten or so days and has at least another month of overtime to go. We decided Saturday night it was time for a quick break, so we went to a movie and then dinner. The movie was awful (made awful, acted awfully, etc.) but dinner was great!

We went to the same shopping area that we came from the night the deer hit us- remember that? Well, suffice it to say, we were somewhat nervous about this date night, but all went well and we made it home in time for Husband to work some more. Yay!

It amazes me how you can go somewhere or do something a bazillion times, but the one time something goes wrong, you can't remember very well the bazillion times everything was fine.

You know?

You know how sometimes you have so much on your mind that you can't think of anything to say? That's how I feel right now. That isn't a bad thing by the way.

I would hate for you to get the impression I've got a one-track mind right now because I don't, but I really hope it snows tomorrow! I also hope Husband and I don't spend more than our normal amount of time getting home from work (regards to the Traffic Fiasco of '05).
