Driving Miss Susie

I drove by myself tonight in the dark.

That might not sound like much, but for me, it's a big deal. I hate driving in the dark. With a passion. Especially by myself. I knew that by moving farther away from everything and having a longer commute, I was going to have to do it at some point and get used to driving at night, but tonight was the first time. A sick friend had a hankering for some Gatorade and Bo's and I had to help like a superhero must rescue the world. Well I did it and it felt great! I blasted some KLOVE and sang to my little heart's content driving down the highway eating french fries and drinking Pepsi, calling my beloved hubby every so often to tell him I was doing okay. My poor friend was even surprised to see me by myself at night, but I delivered the goods and sang my way home (My poor car is the only privileged thing to hear me attempt to sing, with the exception of my poor patient husband who puts up with it.). So I did it! Yay!
